If you’ve ever done any cabinetmaking you know that a good coat of shellac can really protect and beautify the wood. But did you know that the same stuff can also “beautify and protect” your food as well? Protect it from what…drying out, size reduction..the sort of things that keep it looking good even though it’s getting quite old. Now you might think I’m kidding. Well I’m not. This morning as I was chopping veggies I started thinking that instead of a “Hot Pocket” or a “Hearty Man” type of dinner disaster I’ll be having home cooked veggies with a taste that’s obscenely delicious. Summer … Ice Cream they really go together. Well today we’ve put together a summertime recipe for you that is easy to make organically.
