My day in and day out Chef’s Knife is not something I obtained from a Fancy-Schmantzy Gourmet Boutique..nope.. I got mine at the Salvation Army Thrift Store. No kidding. And this was a case where both my Inner Scrooge as well as my Inner Green Self could both be happy. What I got was a high carbon steel knife for about five bucks. This is a preparation for an Organic Spinach Puree that involves blanching the Spinach and creating the puree in organic butter. Once done, you’ll have an ingredient to add to many recipes such as the Organic Spinach with Cheese Omelettes.
