Had to quickly pick up some Kale last night so was forced to go the conventional route at the local Biggie Mart. If you’ve ever tried to wash Kale you’ll know that the stuff acts like it’s totally waterproof. That is, water will not wash over it but beads up .. “like water on a duck’s back”. Anyway, all I could think about when eating this was what industrialized chemical was I chewing and swallowing. This totally disgusted me and made me realize that sometimes even in a pinch it’s better to go without then buy chemically dusted foods.
