Extra Virgin Organic Olive Oil is a beautiful thing. The flavor is so rich with so many layers/notes..I absolutely love the stuff. But you know, sometimes you need a little heat & spice. So let’s amp up this wonderful oil..pump it up with roids..make it extreme..dress it up dangerously sexy. The recipe is given below.  So have been running with the experiment of living without Gluten, Dairy, Nuts or Coffee just to get myself totally detoxed and level set to a completely healthy state. And so far the results have been fantastic… am able to go to bed earlier..sleep like a rock and wake up totally refreshed as opposed to being all grogged up from a food sensitivity hangover. Also, we’re talking about feeling this good while getting up at 4:30 AM .. Nice.

I’ve been spending more time travelling lately for my business which makes it even more challenging to live Organic, Gluten-Free and Dairy-Free. And this is one of the great times of year to put them together..especially if you’re going to be home for several hours due to the weather or football. Anyway, we tried several variations of the classic recipe and have arrived at one that really produces some great beans…

Sorry I have been away from the blog for almost a week, but it’s been a tough one. Continued experimenting with Gluten-Free, Dairy-Free, Caffeine-Free Living and there have been tough days with some pretty harsh withdrawal symptoms. But one of the good outcomes to surface was in learning that I was anemic due to an iron deficiency. Prior to this I’d eat very clean during the week and have one off-day during the weekend. Turns out that upon analysis, my weekly diet (not counting the off-day) supplied about 50% of the RDA of iron..seems that the [...click to contimue reading...]
